Autocannons. Take the 425mm. The barrel itself is 4.25 meters in diameter, which means the ammunition is too. To move something that large and heaavy, you would need several hundred kilograms of explosives, and if you used EM energy it would be a railgun. Gunpowder and some explosives do work in space, as they are self- oxidizing, but the amount needed and the force exerted would do more damage to the ship itself. Plus the ammunition would be huge, ships would probably only be able to fit a couple shells. And in repeaeting autocannons? no way.
Artillery Same as above, just alaot more boom boom fail.
Railguns. The principle here would work, just why would it use hybrid ammunition? It would be better off with depleted uranium penetrator rounds, like projectile ammunition. Hybrid rounds would just fail on containment after impact anad make a small boom on the outside of the ship, penetrators wold go inside, plus depleted uranium would spark like magnesium and send burning emberes at over 5000F throughout the ship.
Blasters Ahh, my favorite. These would actually work, and in fact quite well. Fit a hybrid shel full of electrons and shoot that shell at a ship, and the electrons would strip away the other electrons on the atoms of the target, therefore making an eectron "ball" that would fly through a shi, burning extremely hot. Not only that, but the now stripped atoms of the impact zone are noww unstable and positively charged, and will explode. So you have an explosion and a burning ball of plasma flying through your ship. This is aalso the hardest to make, as containment systeems for containing electrons would be... difficult to manufacature. Shells would be more like torpedoes, aprobably fired from a very complex weapon platform.
The lasers Seem realistitc enough, modulating frequencies is something that seems predictable for new technologgy in the future, limiting to EM and Heat is correct. Microwawve crystals wouldnt work on metal ships but would fry humans inside, multifrequency wouldnt work as you canat have mixed frequencies, VISIBLE lasers would probably be limited ultraviolet as lasers are excited light particles on a wavelewentgh and therefore could not acheive the lower wavelengths.
Just nitpicking, CCP.
Just thought I'd nitpick this bit. 425mm = .425m
